“As a kid growing up in rural Minnesota, exploring the woods, climbing trees, and carving sticks from fallen branches was just another day. From a young age, there was something appealing to me about ropes, knots, and pulleys. It was this passion for climbing trees that drove me to begin working as a professional arborist.

While working for a small tree service company in 2012, I observed the operations of both a small business owner and an experienced climber. Although his knowledge of the industry was endless, his focus on customer service was somewhat lacking.

Working for a national tree company in 2016, I saw how the business operated on a large scale and how different it was from the smaller company. Not only did a large company overcharge for their work, but the quality was not top-notch because they essentially had customers to spare.

I started Blue Axe Tree Service to provide the best tree care quality in the industry, while keeping costs efficient and appealing. Since we are a small company based out of Cannon Falls, we are able to give each and every one of our customers the quality time and service they deserve.”
